Built for learning.
Organised for trust.

KiriMELCOP is developing a clear, accountable foundation for a long-term Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning community serving Kiribati.

A professional home for Kiribati's MEL community.

Purpose

To connect people and strengthen the responsible use of monitoring, evaluation and learning for better decisions and community outcomes in Kiribati.

Vision

A Kiribati where locally grounded evidence and shared learning help communities and organisations make stronger decisions.

Mission

To provide a free, inclusive and trusted platform for peer learning, practical resources, professional connection and ethical MEL practice.

Four pillars guide the work.

These priorities connect the public purpose of KiriMELCOP with the Roadmap being reviewed by members.

01

Strengthen MEL capacity

Build practical skills through peer learning, mentoring, workshops and accessible training.

02

Connect people and practice

Bring together people across islands, sectors and experience levels to solve shared challenges.

03

Use evidence responsibly

Promote ethical, culturally responsive and useful evidence that supports better decisions.

04

Grow local knowledge

Document, protect and share learning grounded in Kiribati contexts and community priorities.

Participation, responsibility and approval.

KiriMELCOP separates open community participation from private member learning and role-based administration. This protects people and information while keeping the community accessible.
